Tanya Guefre was created in 2017 by a mother and daughter. Our business was born out of a lifelong passion for style and love of designing looks for the fashion-forward female world.

The idea of creating the brand was built on our relationship and shared passion for design. Behind the creation of every piece, is the mentality to make women feel empowered and confident while remaining sophisticated yet comfortable in any occasion.

We aspire to elevate the feminine spirit through clothing, and our love for fashion is what drives us to create and develop something incredible for our clientele every day.

Tell us a little about Tanya Guefre and your lines?

Tanya Guefre’s main concept is all about the marriage between classic fashion and modern ideas. We believe that in order to create timeless clothing, there is a need to recognize contemporary work that reflects the present, as well as staying grounded in the important movements of the past. The balance between modernity and tradition is what we strive to achieve when creating our designs.

We are always operating with innovation and creativity in mind, and with each new collection comes a different idea, concept, and boldness that seeks to push the envelope in women’s fashion.

What inspired you to get into fashion?

Before we ever considered starting our brand, fashion already occupied a very special place in our personal lives. Expressing ourselves through our style, and looking our best, has always been a source of empowerment and creative expression for us, and has impacted several areas of our day-to-day life. Nothing feels better than feeling like a million bucks in your outfit, and feeling ready to take on the world. When the time came for us to launch Tanya Guefre, we knew that our priority was to help others feel that sense of courage, and self-love through fashion.

Who is your favorite designer of the moment and why?

Olivier Rousteing is our favorite designer at the moment. His creativity and perspective of fashion is phenomenal, and he is an undeniable influence in today’s fashion world. His vision inspires us to always look for new ways to define elegance, modern design, and originality.

Can you describe your perfect outfit and what makes it the best?

We always say- the perfect outfit is the one that makes you feel the most you! When you feel your best, you do your best. For us, that means something both classy and comfortable.

If you were in the cast of The Real Housewives, what would be your tagline?

“My business is style, and I am the boss.”

Where do you think fashion is heading next?

We believe fashion is always a reflection of the present culture. As the people give voice to identities that have not been amplified in the past, new styles are brought to the forefront and celebrated in a way that we have not seen before. Fashion provides hope and beauty that are inherent to the endless possibilities that exist within self-expression. The future of fashion is unpredictable, but our speculation is that it will continue to explore the relationship between the avant-garde, and the classic, in such a way that looks from past eras are reinvented to fit into the present day, in more inclusive ways than ever before.

What’s your perfect Miami night? What are your top South Beach Miami restaurants?

A perfect night in Miami is a combination of good music, good food, and a good ambiance. The experience Joia Beach provides unites all these elements, exalting all the best qualities of Miami in a one-of-a-kind location, with a view of the ocean and the Miami sunset we all know and love.

What are some of your favorite off-the-radar hidden gems in Miami? Favorite restaurants in Miami Beach?

The more you explore Miami, the more gems you find in places you never thought to look. We recently found some of our favorite sushi in Miami near our office downtown, at a small restaurant called Kone Sushi- a wonderful spot to grab good food and decompress from the busy life in downtown Miami.

Although we work in different fields, Tanya Guefre carries the same values when it comes to offering the best to our clients. We create and develop high-quality clothing directed at a special clientele, such as the clientele of Joia, and our fashion concept relates to high-end resort and beachwear, which pairs perfectly with Joia’s theme.
