Tell us a little about Rumble and its philosophy?
Rumble is a no BS, authentic “boxing-inspired” experience. We are hospitality-driven group fitness for the individual and pride ourselves on creating a premium fitness service unlike anything else.
The Rumble program delivers a 50 minute, 10 round, half boxing, half strength training workout crafted around specially designed, teardrop-style bags and technologically assisted with program cues and GIFs on the walls. The classes are led by some of the best trainers in the business and engineered to the beat of custom hip-hop and EDM mashups mixed by Rumble’s exclusive house DJ.
In essence, the culmination of high energy music, vibey lights, thought-out programming and the collective heartbeat of the room is what makes this celebrity backed brand “the rising tide in fitness.”
What is your favorite workout and can you give us a little advise on how to stick to your wellness and fitness routine?
Is it too cliche to say my favorite workout is boxing..? If so, I’ll change my answer to any form of movement that’s rhythmically driven like running or cycling and can be paired with a good playlist. Truthfully, I am able to stick to my fitness and wellness routine because I actually enjoy it. Over the years, I’ve found what works for me by choosing workouts, programs and classes that I actually look forward to doing rather than feeling like I had to do them. Group fitness classes play a big role in holding myself accountable. There’s nothing like scheduling a variety of classes led by motivating instructors with killer playlists, who tell you exactly what to do and when to do it, while feeding off of the energy of the people surrounding you..
What do you think will be the next big workout or fitness trend?
It’s no secret that the fitness industry took a big hit throughout the pandemic. We saw the digital fitness world have its big moment and while I believe at home fitness will continue to thrive, I think what people are really craving now, more so than ever, is a sense of connection and togetherness. Therefore, I hope that the next big craze will be centered on a communal fitness experience, taking us back to the basics and promoting movement and wellness as a whole.
What’s your perfect Miami night?
I’m an old soul at heart so my perfect Miami night is pretty simple and goes something like this.. grab a drink with my husband or a few friends and watch the sunset at a place like Joia Beach, have a late dinner reservation or order takeout and be tucked soundly into bed before midnight.
Favorite quote to live by?
I begin all of my classes by stating that there’s only one rule and that’s to: “do what you can, with everything you’ve got.” It’s a nice reminder to find gratitude in the things that we have, whether big or small and to use them to the best of our abilities.
Small studios, as opposed to larger gyms, are having a real moment. Why do you think that is?
I love to see the small studios having their deserved moment! As a fitness professional, it’s always been more than just a workout for me. I think the smaller studios do a wonderful job of creating a culture and sense of camaraderie that allow their members to feel like they are a part of something bigger than the workout. At Rumble in particular, we take pride in the service we provide. We do our best to make each member feel seen, valued and welcomed into the nationwide “Rumble fam” that is continuing to grow, so that all the work they put in at the studio translates directly into their lives the second they walk out of our doors.
